④ Russia launched nearly 1,000 drones at Ukraine in 24 hours — one of the largest attacks of the war. A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Lviv caught fire. A maternity hospital was struck. Ukraine hit Russia's biggest Baltic oil port in response. Zelenskyy said plainly: Russia is helping Iran carry out strikes, and Ukraine is running short of missiles because Washington is focused elsewhere.
⑤ Iran's military rejected the 15-point plan in the sharpest terms possible. Iran's counter-demands include reparations, full sanctions relief, and legal guarantees against future US interference. The person whose decision actually matters — Mojtaba Khamenei — has said nothing publicly since the war began.
⑥ French authorities raided the Paris offices of Swiss private bank Edmond de Rothschild in connection with the Epstein case. The accountability proceedings are happening in Europe. The story is almost entirely absent from American coverage this week.

Now if you could explain why one man thought it was ok to pay France $928 million to stop wind farm construction and take up oil and gas. The shocks don't quit even with a war going on.
